Implementation date of LEI requirements for third-country issuers under the SFTR reporting regime in EU

In the Notice on February 24, 2021(Information on European Union's Securities Financing Transaction Regulation and its implications for issuers in non-EU countries) , JPX/TSE announced that SFTR reporting regime in EU will be applied to third-country securities.
Implementation date of the SFTR reporting regime was scheduled to April 13, 2021, but On April 13, The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated its statement, and announced that implementation date is postponed until October 10, 2022.
